In addition to all the voice and message-based features supported on basic cellphones, all CellCast Apps can receive and manage mobile web content, ePUB and PDF files, rich media files including video and audio clips, and interactive PowerPoint™ presentations with included animations and transitions. CellCast Apps allow learners to take best advantage of the media and file management capabilities of their mobile devices, extending and enhancing the learning environment for a highly mobile workforce.
Supported devices include RIM BlackBerry® wireless handhelds and PlayBooks™, Apple iPhone®, iPad™ and iPod touch® media players, all Microsoft Windows Mobile® and Windows Phone® devices, Google Android® smartphones and tablets, and popular eBook readers like Amazon's Kindle Fire® and Barnes & Noble's NOOK®. Assignments and content, including tests and surveys, can be accessed “over-the-air” or automatically synced down to the mobile device for off-line consumption. All results are uploaded into OnPoint’s CellCast Manager platform for detailed tracking and reporting. And localization support is provided in eleven different languages.
For larger customers, the CellCast Solution can work with directory services like LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory® as well as integrate with other core platforms and line-of-business applications like an enterprise Learning Management System, sales force automation application, or typical HRIS, ERP or CRM platforms.
